hi friends! we got back from our short d.c. trip and had the most fabulous time. seriously, it is definitely the highlight of our mini travels for 2017.. let’s be honest. we basically hopped on the plane, got to baltimore pretty tired after a full week prior and sort of winged it. got some great suggestions to jump start my planning from friends.. and it was go go go for the 2.5 days we were there. here is a photo journal of our trip with some tips & reflections at the end! definitely looking forward to our next visit to d.c. and the rest of our mini jaunts lined up (hawaii, portland, santa barbara) over the next few months. happy traveling friends!
so we just got back from our 5th (!!!!) disney trip to disneyland/california adventures this spring. we have been utilizing the southern california offer and the fact that sweet little e is under 3 yrs old to have disney adventures and mini staycations in anaheim this spring. this is the first year we are taking our daughter to disneyland..
we have had a blast this spring so far and are looking forward to our final trip next month before the summer heat really ramps up here in southern california..
read below for more pictures from our most recent visit to california adventures and some tips/tricks we picked up this season to make our d-land trips fun, pretty stress-free, and doable with a little 2.5 yo toddler! 🙂
family vacations are the best. growing up we spent many summers and winters up in the cabin in lake tahoe. it’s so fun to continue this tradition with our sweet little e. we were super pumped to get rooms at the hyatt resort in north tahoe (my favorite area on the lake).
STAYCATIONS! one of our favorite staycations this year was heading a short drive south to huntington beach to stay at the hyatt resort! i love using points to find ways to make our trips go a bit further and we used points to book a 1 night stay to avoid resort fees and save on a bit of cash!
